• When something is copyrighted it is protected legally.
• If someone is wishing to share the information they must get permission from the author or give the author credit for their work.
• It is illegal to steal another's work if it is copyrighted.
• The Copyright Act is known as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Email

• Emails are used to send letters and information to others.
•  Email is a much quicker way to send things than a normal letter in the mail. 
• You can attach things such as picture files and music files onto emails and send them to where they need to go.
• Emails are also used to send rude and angry messages to people.
• Email can be very useful when it comes to passing information, but if used wrongly, can also be used to hurt others.
